Alicia comes to our classroom after completing her massage therapy program earlier this year. A native of Tennessee, she has 25+ years of nursing and teaching experience and we are thrilled to have her expertise!
Annie Ogle, LMT, Certified Health Coach
Annie began her massage therapist journey more than 20 years ago with a passion for treating each client uniquely, asking questions and listening. Annie received her associates degree in massage therapy in 2006 and began teaching as a massage therapy instuctor in 2008. Annie is certified in Oncology Massage, Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy, Prenatal Massage, Chi Nei Tsang, Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Microcurrent Point Stimulation, Reflexology, Aromatouch Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage, Gua Sha Therapy, Chakra Balancing,Ear Candling, Reiki, and Sinus Massage. Maria Matsos, LMT, Instructor
Maria is a graduate of Madison School of massage therapy. She received her national certification in 2007 and is a member of ABMP. She specializes in Swedish and deep tissue massage and has received continuing education training in lymphatic drainage, Polarity Therapy and myofascial release. She has taught since 2011 and is currently employed at Hand & Stone in Madison.
Daphne Bedford, LMT, Instructor
Daphne Bedford graduated from MSMT in 2016 and started her private practice in our clinic. She began teaching in 2018. She offers Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, Hot Stone, Bamboo and Raindrop Therapy massage. You can call the school at 256-430-9756 to book a session with Daphne
Gena Rawdon, LMT, Instructor
Gena received her Bachelors of Science degree in Public Relations and Journalism from the University of North Alabama in 1991. After surviving two bouts of cancer in the 90’s, she began a journey of educating herself on the mind/body/spirit connection and ways to treat the whole body through alternative healing techniques. This journey took her to the Madison School of Massage Therapy in Madison, Alabama, where she received her diploma in June of 2009. Gena purchased Madison School of Massage Therapy in 2013.
